As a senior consultant, Jahera supports organizations and foundations by co-creating, designing, and carrying out programs to drive strategic growth and implement effective organizational change. Jahera brings deep knowledge and expertise in racial and health equity, community engagement, facilitation, and capacity building. She is a certified program manager and excels in defining goals, leveraging data to develop thoughtful and impactful recommendations, and managing strategy implementation.

Before joining Community Wealth Partners, Jahera was the founder and principal consultant with PAYO Collaborative, where she worked with U.S. and international nonprofit organizations to address critical challenges by providing a targeted and customized package of services that drive organizational and programmatic growth, change, and implementation. Before founding PAYO, Jahera worked for numerous U.S. and international nonprofits to design and develop impactful and creative public health programs and initiatives focused on women, infants, and children’s health.

Jahera has an MPH in Health Policy and Management from Boston University School of Public Health and a BS in Nutritional Science from Cornell University.

I do what I do because: I believe that all children deserve to learn, grow, and play in communities that have the necessary resources to support them

As a senior consultant, Kaylyn works on a variety of projects with a diverse range of nonprofits and foundations. Kaylyn is skilled at centering community voice and building trusting relationships to advance the missions of organizations.  Believing that well managed projects facilitate more successful outcomes, Kaylyn invests in organization, collaboration, and communication to execute project deliverables. Kaylyn is a passionate facilitator and has experience facilitating a diverse array of groups and individuals.

Prior to joining Community Wealth Partners, Kaylyn worked as a Senior Project Coordinator in the Center for Culturally Responsive Engagement at the Michigan Public Health Institute (MPHI). Kaylyn worked with nonprofits and foundations to center equity in their work, including implementation and evaluation. Through a culturally responsive and racially equitable approach, Kaylyn worked with clients to ensure evaluations and learnings centered communities that were most impacted by the work. Kaylyn worked across multiple projects and teams ensuring efficient processes and timely deliverables.

Prior to working at MPHI, Kaylyn was a Senior Analyst in the Social and Economic Policy Division at Abt Associates. Kaylyn worked across a range of content areas including housing, food insecurity, and workforce development. At Abt, Kaylyn assisted with the development and execution of government funded research and evaluation.  Through rigorous research Kaylyn developed her analytic, project management, and qualitative research skills. Clients included the United States Department of Agriculture, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Department of Education as well as select foundations and non-profit organizations.

Kaylyn holds an MPH with a concentration in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Yale School of Public Health and a B.A. in Political Science with a concentration in Health and Urban Policy and Politics from Yale University.

When not at work, Kaylyn enjoys spending time exploring her new city Philadelphia (by foot) and visiting family and friends across the country.

Carolina loves to build things. In her role as Senior Consultant, she supports organizations and foundations to think deeply about the conditions and environments needed to amplify change. She’s worked extensively with nonprofits in the United States and abroad to help evaluate and understand short- and long-term impacts of diverse programmatic implementation.

Prior to joining Community Wealth Partners, Carolina served as the leader and Co-Founder at Lead for Ghana, a member of the Teach For All network, and the founding Director of Operations at the Equity Project Charter School, leading the expansion of educational programming. Over the last eight years, Carolina has worked extensively to launch new initiatives, understand ecosystems, and engage diverse stakeholders to co-design programming that will have the greatest impact.

Carolina received an M.A. in Sociology of Education and Policy from New York University (NYU) and a B.A from Tufts University.
