SENIOR DIRECTOR

What inspires me: I am inspired by people who practice love, kindness and compassion every day and dedicate their efforts to improving the lives of others.

I do what I do because: Every human deserves a decent life and freedom to use their unique gifts to realize their goals.

I think the world would be better if: Race was not a factor that determines a person’s life outcomes.

Idalia works with organizations to strengthen and support leaders and teams so they can achieve the results they seek. In partnership with these organizations, she creates and carries out capacity-building programs. She brings deep expertise in creating assessments to understand the areas of capacity that nonprofits want to build. She also facilitates conversations among teams, trains nonprofits in building certain capacities, and coaches leaders so they can lead teams to operate effectively and make lasting change. Idalia has worked extensively with organizations focused on changing systems, advocating for better public policies, and working toward racial equity and social justice. She also leads Community Wealth Partner’s efforts to learn about racial equity and integrate it into their operations so the firm can better drive change and work with clients to come up with data-informed and racial equity-focused solutions.

Before joining Community Wealth Partners, Idalia was the president of the Hispanic College Fund where she improved the organization’s operations and programs in innovative ways, leading to tremendous organizational growth and impact. Under her leadership, the Hispanic College Fund grew from a startup to a $7M organization.
