As a Senior Consultant, Rachel Hutt leads client relationships and engagements by facilitating diverse leadership teams in bold decision making and supporting the execution of transformational new ideas.
Rachel has significant experience working with youth-serving organizations focused on education and hunger, as well as organizations striving to improve community health and wellbeing. Rachel’s core expertise is in facilitating strategic planning, as well as coaching leaders in guiding their organizations through this type of change. Rachel has guided the development of a theory of change for an organization addressing the systemic causes of chronic homelessness, partnered with an organization to design a strategy to ensure that all kids get the play they need, and supported numerous non-profits in rethinking how they leverage their assets to achieve greater outcomes.
Prior to joining Community Wealth Partners, Rachel was committed to bringing the joy of reading to children around the country through her work at Reading Is Fundamental (RIF). At RIF she led planning and implementation of key strategic initiatives and organizational system improvement, bringing increased access to engaging books for kids in need. Rachel serves on the board of LearnServe International, which equips diverse groups of young people with business planning and social entrepreneurship skills and empowers them to make change in their communities.
Rachel has a B.A. in Sociology from Columbia University, where she graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.
